Today I have been designing textures that will be suitable for use on the final 3d modelling dvd menu project. the whole class has been asked to contribute something towards the final product so i decided to make some scratches on the desk or a small flyer or something. I have come up with 2 design ideas

Today I have been designing hand-drawn sketches for ideas for my DVD menu. Since then I have recieved feedback on the class's DVD menu's and I have made notes accordingly. I am looking at what designs I could come up with trying to stick to the guidelines that I have been set now. I have not come up with any ideas as of yet but I am going to look at designing some when Im using my home computer later.

Today I have been mostly developing ideas for my DVD menu. I have been modifying some previous ideas that I made, improving them. I have also deleted some of my poorer ideas that I had. I haved managed to develop some new ideas using Google to research for some images of buildings and other things found in Grimsby. Next I plan to create a few more ideas or develop my existing ideas. DVD menu ideas

This lesson I have been developing ideas and creating rough templates of DVD menu designs. I have used the search engine 'Google' to find images of Grimsby and the surrounding area such as Cleethorpes. I am going to be developing my images at home and coming up with a final idea that I will be presenting

Today i have learned how to mkake a hover effect on a DVD menu. When you hover or select over a link it makes an effect and makes the link or image change colour. I also wrote a 500 word essay analysing a DVD menu.

DVD Authoring

Today I have learnt some basic skills that have helped me to use a new tool, "DVD Studio Pro". I now have a basic understanding of how to create a working DVD menu. I have also looked at some basic features such as adding image & audio effects to my DVD menu. I have created working buttons, "play feature", "scene selection", "back to main menu", to name a few.
